In 1986, the world's worst nuclear disaster occurred at the Chernobyl power station. Soviet authorities established a 30km 'Exclusion Zone' around this nuclear wasteland, but in 2006 a second explosion rocked the stricken reactor, obliterating all living things and causing the Zone's boundaries to ripple outwards. From this epicenter came waves of mutated creatures, deadly radiation, and a strange, anomalous energy. The Zone was cordoned off by the military, who would shoot on sight anyone foolish enough to brave the horrors within.

Since there are tons of mods, addons and game versions out there its NOT possible to provide an addon that fits them all.
These crosshair textures should work in every game that uses a simple texture as scope crosshair.
The following "installation guide" is just an exsample how it COULD work.
If you dont know what you are doing digging in the gamefiles LEAVE it alone.
BUT you can try it.
1. Find the wpn_crosshair.dds files in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SOC/gamedata/textures/wpn
2. backup the original files
3. rename the .dds file you downloaded to that one you want to replace
4. paste it.
5. have fun.
if you want to make the different weapons or scopes show different crosshairs in game you have to change the config files, located in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SOC/gamedata/config/weapons. There should be a .ltx file for every weapon. The scopes are in weapons.ltx. open these .ltx files with notepad++ for example. find the line "scope_texture" and change what is behind the "=" to fit the .dds files you put in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SOC/gamedata/textures/wpn
