A radical retro rogue-like first-person shooter! Started during Ludum Dare 46. Please follow this game development journey both here and on YouTube.com/forceofhabit :)
Hey INDIE DB!
My indie game debut - Toast Time - came out on Android in September 2013. Now that it's been several years, and released on numerous new platforms - including console - I figured it's time to open that sealed vault of top-secret information that every developer has. Sales figures!
This video talks through sales figures from all of its releases: Mobile, Steam, Humble Bundle & Nintendo Switch. I am hoping that showing you all this will inject a bit of realism into your indie game dreams, and that you might give me a pity-follow on various social channels. We'll see! xD
Anyway, I'm happy to answer any questions you have about sales/marketing/pr beats, any details I might have missed, or about my Discord "Coverage Bot" that I run too.
I'll be back to my regular devlogs for Retro FPS Roguelike after this, that's for sure!
