Project Luna is a space survival game. The concept is you are a survivor on
a space ship wreck, floating through space. Very few systems are still operating
(which are chosen randomly at the start of a game) and you must survive long
enough for help to come.


-2D scrolling character

Set in a 2D side scroller, pixel art world.


-Randomized games

The game will randomly begin with an assortment of remaining compartments,
leaks, structural weaknesses, resource reserves, etc. The player must manage this to live the longest.
NOTE: No paths should lead to long term survival!


-Oxygen and pressure per compartment

There is remaining air pressure in each surviving room. This means without a space suit a low/no pressure
room will kill the player. Rooms may also have leaks, or air pressure control systems, that will force the player to strategically manage their air.


-Food/water management

Player will have to deal with status effects (slowness, fainting, lowered physical strength, etc.) and eventually death if he neglects basic human needs.


-crafting and repair systems

Player will need to create things and maintain failing systems to prevent pressure ruptures, carbon dioxide poisoning, etc.


-Critical Decision making

This game will put you to the test. Do you use that battery well to send a help beacon or reserve it to maintain power to your Oxygen scrubbers in case you run out? Or you need to go through that airlock, do you jettison the air from that module or risk over pressurizing the damaged oxygen tank?

These decisions will decide if you survive or not.
