Hylophobia is a free small horror game. You will have to survive through a forest while some creatures attack you. You will have a GPS device for finding your way in the forest.

Latest version is the alpha 0.1.3
You can also download the old 0.1.2 version on the website, which is way HARDER. But try the 0.1.3 first.

You can find the Source code of Hylophobia on its Github page: Github.com

That was my first Unity game, so a lot of things are badly coded/designed, but maybe you can find some interesting things for your Unity game.

The game has also been downloaded more than 40'000 times. Thank you all !

Amazing audio, the atmosphere of the game is perfect. Totally love the whispering in the characters ear when the monster gets close. I like the need to look at the GPS adds that element of panic. The monster though, should be a little less visible, maybe an impish looking thing with like a bearded skull face. Oh and put faces on the trees or make the trees creek and move somehow

I find the title in this game needs to live up to its meaning. I don't mean to come off as a negative nancy or anything, but you should work more toward making the player dread the forest itself and not just things that may be inhabiting it. Have the environment itself work against the player. It would make the hunt much more perilous, because at any moment an inconspicuous tree would maybe snatch you up with its branch or something, forcing you to stop and free yourself while a skull may be right behind you. Or have the trees shift when you're not looking, possibly trying to mislead you from the orb's location or hide a monster that's close to you.
You have the potential to make something that isn't an uninspired unity engine game. Go all out.
