The classic first person shooter is back with the action-packed gameplay, sandbox world, and thrilling epic battles players loved the first time around – with remastered graphics and optimizations for a new generation of hardware co-developed on CRYENGINE with Saber Interactive. Starting this summer, Crysis Remastered will be available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and for Nintendo Switch.

Crysis Remastered will focus on the original game’s single-player campaigns and is slated to contain high-quality textures and improved art assets, an HD texture pack, temporal anti-aliasing, SSDO, SVOGI, state-of-the-art depth fields, new light settings, motion blur, and parallax occlusion mapping, particle effects will also be added where applicable. Further additions such as volumetric fog and shafts of light, software-based ray tracing, and screen space reflections provide the game with a major visual upgrade.

“We are excited to be working on the Crysis franchise again, and to bring all the Crysis fans a remaster worthy of their passion for the game,” said Crytek CEO Avni Yerli. “It’s an exciting opportunity to be able to bring Crysis back to PCs and current consoles – even Nintendo Switch! – so that a whole new generation of players can experience the thrill of a battle in the Nanosuit.”

In Crysis 1, what begins as a simple rescue mission becomes the battleground of a new war as alien invaders swarm over a North Korean island chain. Armed with a powerful Nanosuit, players can become invisible to stalk enemy patrols, or boost strength to lay waste to vehicles. The Nanosuit’s speed, strength, armor, and cloaking allow creative solutions for every kind of fight, while a huge arsenal of modular weaponry provides unprecedented control over play style. In the ever-changing environment, adapt tactics and gear to dominate your enemies, in an enormous sandbox world.

If only you wait until next-gen consoles and release it with Warhead campaign and Multiplayer and Mod SDK, only then it will be worth re-buying it again.

i know this story looks "incredible" .. read these page : https://www.breakingnews.fr/technologie/half-life-3-date-de-sortie-nouvelles-et-rumeurs-pour-linsaisissable-bete-de-valve-400238.html
and also https://newsdio.com/half-life-3-release-date-news-and-rumors-about-valves-elusive-beast/80218/
if you search : Arkane Studios ; you can read : Newell also confirmed that Episode 3, as it was known back then, would end the story arc that started in Half Life 2. While discussing the possibility of a fourth episodic installment, he confirmed that it would be independent and run outside of Valve. It was later revealed to have been in development at the developers of Dishonored Arkane Studios and titled Return to Ravenholme. Unfortunately it was canceled.
read this to read that prey [2] was made using cryengine ...
https://store.steampowered.com/app/480490/Prey/

svencoop 3 is the version made twenty years ago of the mod now free at steam that is at version 5 ...

on my side , i made a mix of mods...by picking few maps and models ...in a lot of those that were made when hl was popular... it makes a new "mod" and i search devs for the dlls so it can play under hl ... but i am also ready to use a more recent engine like the cryengine ...to port maps ..and make a little of money to make others games or projects like movies..
is that more understandable ?

i love the idea..the game was more used for benchmarks than played..
i also loved a lot the game prey that use cryengine.. later i read that the studio that made the game [ was working on hl3..] the prey was a patch for hl3 and prey..audience..probleme is/was the spirit world is not included..nor xen..

so i write but if you want to remaster hl and some svencoop 3 maps that i grabbed at forum and reworked a little and ready to adapt for a new engine more hl3 .. that would be a pleasure.. i have a lot of good ideas and i need money to change of air... france is too old and too much boring

are you alright ? what are you even on about ? Prey ? HL3? svencoop 3 ? there is no such thing as HL3 nor a Prey / HL3 crossover.

you should PLAY BLACK MESA ...that copied end of the really first "PREY" made using idtech4 engine ...
it was available at $team$ but was removed...
the actual Prey sold at $team$ is the sequel.... that was published as is.. after a lot of tests to made a sequel.. this second prey looks a lot hl style with "source engine" but as a prey "the spirit world was deleted..." i was talking about using cry engine to make a story about hl / hl3 ... about this point : my work is going on.. i feel i ll need as much time to make it as j cameron to make his avatars 2 3 4 5 ..... or the time needed to make prey.. the first that was started at the time of DOOM [ the very very first : running under MS-DOS ]
