this game looks and sounds awesome. But the fighting looks a bit restricted when he swings the sword. The roll looks dope though!

You're right, combat is very restricted.
After I'm done implementing new sound effects made by a sound designer, Jesse Sidders, I will be redesigning the entire combat.
It will have motion captured animations, and the combat feel of Witcher 3.
It will take a few weeks but it is coming :)
Currently testing a new grass system that reacts to all movement.
