This is a player model for Blood 2 that imports the Quake 2 marine into the game. Also includes a largely identical mod by Bleep.

Ho-Ho-Ho! Have you been a good homocidal maniac that trots around in a trenchcoat shootingcultists and blind zombies..this year?! :) I know it has been a lengthy period of time since I have released anything, but here is the 'current in-dev' Marine model. This model is different than the other version on Fileplanet beacause 'IT-IS' the final model candidate that will be used in "BASTARD CTF". This release of the model has a skin texture available altough still boogery and 'not perfect', I have spent countless nights trying to mimick the original skin coords of the Quake2 marine in the UVW Unwrap window of 3dsmax, so that the countless 'available' Quake2 marine skins can be applied with out too much trouble. But DO NOT set out and spend hours trying to make your old q2 skins work on this model, altough I don't think muchwill change in the way of the skin coordinates, there is always room for improvement...(I'll weed out the present problems before the release of the mod) With that said the -Mckinley Revival- map is doing well. I have re-created, torn apart, etc for optimizations sake. I cannot gaurantee a set date for the release of this mod, but you'll get your fixin' before March 2k :) Im aware that the small handful of people that are interested in this mod would have liked to see 'a-release' before 2k.. But I am not content on releasing a sub par level and some bits & ends of what been finished. Developement should pick up soon tough, I'll be getting a K6-2 450 etc. All in all, enjoy the great FPS's out there, but atleast give "BASTARD CTF" a shot when its finished.

Q: Why name it Bastard CTF?
A: Well it uses some textures, etc..from Quake2 but has some nifty NEW models, features, enhancements etc :) Besides wouldn't you like telling your old lady, "Hey Ma! wanna see some buff soldier men scream BASTARD CTF back n' forth!!"
Q: Why the F*ck is it taking so long?!
A: Well this is my FIRST mod for any game..Im only on a poopy P200 32mb..Erm..Im learning 3dsmax..Erm..I dont make huge earth shaking advancements every hour.. Erm...I do have some form of a pathetic social life...Erm..blame EF-net! Its making me go on!! Its tough re-creating levels in buggy D_EDit that Carmack & co. did on super comps! :)
Q: So you think you're some big shot pimp-daddy Modda' huh?
A: No, Im not trying to compete with the other Blood2/Shogo mods out there, they offer much more than mine..have been released & are updated! I just sat down one day sayin' "Damn, wish I could see how this level looked in Blood2?!" then one thing led to another and here we are 4 months later, with a paralized Marine Model only being released for X-mas/etc!
Q: So why not just convert the fawking q2ctf maps from .map (q2) to .ed (blood2/shogo)?
A: You can't! Ive talked to Chris and other people who are affiliated with Monolith..It simply cannot be done...You have to fully re-create the level brush by brush, light by light. Do you think I enjoy sitting in front of a monitor watching my level chug..wait 50secs and move the mouse again in the level editor??! :) Q: So what PC games j00 like?
A: Im a huge fan of Hidden & Dangerous, Battlezone, Doom, Quake2, etc.
Q: So how have you felt while working on this mod?
A: Simply put, this mod is like a fawking drug!! I have cursed, smashed, maimed my knuckles and other body parts while working on this mod. But I have also gone to sleep mumbling how far I came today in doing blah, blah..raised many mugs of beer, pepsi, whatever with every advancement.
