Why there is no Dothraki faction? :(
They are not a formalised faction under one rule, there is however several large khalasars strolling around.
probably cus they have only one city and no other land that they physically own
They are too far in the East to be really a big Part of this Mod
because the dothraki have no true fortress and are represented by the bandits who roam around the free citys

Agreeing on this, so far the wiki only have the stormlands and the vales trees.
How about the Targaryen faction? I know that in 0.8 there was such a thing, but there was no information on it and it was unjoinable.
there is a targaryen faction in the newer version, it just isn't around until around day 250ish they invade the stormlands take griffins roost, crows nest, the rain one and greenstone, they are there though (mine is on the verge of being wiped out but its there)
They now spawn after completing a quest, same holds for the wildlings. i dont believe there is a requirement in days anymore
Is there like a targaryen faction?
In my game (version 0.9) a Targaryen faction appeared in southern Stormlands, about ~100 days in.
So yes, they are in the mod.
Is there any set way we can see the targaryens emerge, because I still haven't seen them and I'm nearing my two hundredth day and still no sight excluding one of the first days I joined the vale it said a lord from the targaryens had defected and joined the Vale also.
Im pretty sure theres a variable determining the Targaryen appearence, i read on the Taleworlds forum(someone asked for when Aegon invades) and its supposed to automatically happen around day 250. Thats probably the Targaryens, i havent played that far in yet.
I am now past day 250 and still no invasion....

I ran the debug mode, especially in regards to the "lords returning from exile " setting, im assuming this is probably what governs the emerging factions, as i can't find its script anywhere in the physical game files. I noted that it does check for exiled lords and it says theres no one who fits the parameter. Also most of the time i saw a lord defect it was after a lord has been taken prisoner, and then later i'll see a message like
"___ of the riverlands has been released by the riverlands" fill in the blank with a lord's name. So im assuming thats the defection right there, but i never saw any of the Targaryen characters( notably Jon Connington ) appear in any of the kingdoms(if they did defect i assume they would). Someone should bring this up to Cozur...

Been waiting till the targaryens invade... want to join em but they still havent 139 days in, love the mod, a few bugs here and there but has become a truely great one.

At about 185 days man normally spawning in between storms end and stoneholm. =)

I love the mod, it is really well made.
I have this issue though, where the deserts of Essos does not show up.
And instead it creates these depressing swampy forest landscapes whenever in battlemode. Any ideas how to fix this?
loving this mod actually, though many bug, i hope it get fixed after the next release... oh how i wish dragons and daenerys is in the game, but they said it isnt possible.

I find that the Dragonstone Glaivemen are the best infantry, their elite longbowmen the best archers, and their knights are about the best, but equal to the northern cavalry, as the northern cav don't get utterly destroyed when off of a horse.
Pentoshi Cataphracts are the best Cavalry in-game, with Reach, Vale and Dornish knights closely trailing behind. The Elite Ironborn Retainers are the best Infantry. I however use the Veteran Ironborn Retainers so they keep their shields. I'm not sure of the Archers, since both the Vale and the Tyroshian have very good archers. I'd go for Tyroshian mounted archers and some Vale longbowmen since they can hold their own in melee and are all round great. I also heard that the Three Sisters have some really good shock infantry, but I can't seem to remember their names
What about the Stormlands knights? Also, I believe it's a cross between Vale Longbowmen, Dragonstone Longbowmen, and Reach Crossbowmen for the best archer unit, but I suppose I haven't really used the Essosi units much, so I wouldn't know. Speaking of Essosi units, aren't the Unsullied the best infantry?
