The 1st version was made with dehacked in one week, So I guess, it is compatible with lots of sourceports. I haven't tested it outside beloko Doom touch, however. GZDoom is suggested though.
Actually i've learned how to use Dehacked (Whacked, actually) to make it even more interesting to play.
I hope you enjoy. Even if the mod was quite unnecesary, just noticed there are lots of people who actually wants some oldschool modding as well XD
Vainilla Doom 4: Made by AlphaEnt
(I consider it 2.0 because 1.0 was supposed to be without dehacked)
Sprites made by Necronixis
Sprites/Sounds taken from Doom 4 Doom (DBThanatos)
So, my computer broke on April and I was unable to play Doom or modify it for 7 months.
I had Doom touch on my android phone, but no Doom 4 based mod worked on both GZDoom and PRBoom, so I've decided to made my own vainilla Doom 4 mod (after seeing no one did that yet =P)

Update: This zip files contains all vanilla versions of the mod. So, that way you can pickup the one you like more.
V2 had the har instead of chaingun.
V4 had more animations.
V1 and V2 used to kinda work on other sourceports. after v3, they stopped working.
GZDoom is suggested.
Pick your poison and have fun! =P
PS: Don't forget to check my latest mod's:
Counter-Strike Doom: Martian offensive
Titan
Blorc
Invasion infernal 2
and many more!

Incoming update next week! (managed to solve an issue tha prevented me to run the dehacked editor properly)
So, incoming final version.
New update available: Tons of improvements ;)
Made another update today:
Solved an unexpected glitch with chaingun having BRIGHT sprites after firing, plus, added an optional file to increase sprite colour depth and sounds quality.
Have you considered using the extra frames from Boom? If you'll look at VGA's Black Ops mod, you'll see that VGA was able to add smooth weapons that's compatible on Boom-based ports. Consider doing this, it'll vastly improve the weapons aesthetically.
Kudos for doing something I lost interest in when I attempted to do the same thing myself.
Didn't knew about that until later on. However, the main reason the mod brokes on other sourceports is because i use several states with duration 0, which seems to broke the stuff on older sourceports, which is a shame 'cause i use several times that hacky feature (fast weapon switch, making a weapon sounds like something else).
I like the gloom of the weapons and the muzzle fire
