PiratesAhoy! is a community for all fans of pirates and the Age of Sail, centred around games, books, and movies.
We have traditionally been a computer game modding community, our flagship works being the unified Build Mod (AKA New Horizons) for Akella's 2003 game Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Gentlemen of Fortune mod for their more recent game, Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships.
We have also worked on developing New Horizons Remastered, our own non-commercial indie title and spiritual successor to our earlier Hearts of Oak: Conquest of the Seas project.
The community is free for anyone to join, regardless of age, nationality or ability, and we warmly welcome any and all new members to our site.
We're always on the lookout for beta testers, coders, modellers, texture artists and anyone with new ideas!

I am trying to install AOP: Carribean Tales but appears to uninstall incorrectly. It causes my laptop to go through a system restore every time I try. What's up I can't figure it out.

So MK is there any news on on the realease date of the new eras mod yet ? last I checked you said it will be released at jun but when at jun exactly ?

Just love those negative votes from negative people. Seems my predictions about almost everything have been dead on. BTW my latest version of GOF ERAS2 ver 1.5.7 can be found at Buccaneer's Reef. It was just released on 10 November 2015.
