Call of Chernobyl’s voice lines are either in Russian or English. This addon replaces those with Ukrainian lines from the official trilogy wherever applicable. Members of Duty, the mercenaries, and the Monolith still speak Russian.

Does this voice pack have better voiceacting than russian voices?
I think it does. Out of combat, voicelines generally sound more relaxed, and in combat they're a bit harsher.
On that note, Duty members still speak Russian.
Might actually use this voicepack when coc 1.4 comes out.
I'll see if anything needs fixing when 1.4 comes out. If not, I'll let you know.
Is this compatible with the actual patch?
Yup, it's compatible. I'll add [1.4.14] to the mod title, though that means sacrificing the mod's name in Ukrainian.
Any chance for a preview video? :)
I just added some comparisons in the description. :D
Nice)
Is it real to add ukrainian phrases ALONG with keeping russian ones?
Duty, ecologists, mercs and Monolith still speak Russian.
Its not what i mean.
I meant if its possible to ADD these, not replace?
I'm not sure. I've only replaced audio files, nothing has been added. Maybe you could use this and play around: Moddb.com
Technically you can. rename them human_04, human_05, human_06. Then assign these to a couple character profiles for each faction in character_desc_general.xml. This way some stalkers will spawn and speak Ukrainian.
I was under the impression that Russian and Ukrainian were the same language. :o
Not really, although many Ukrainians understand Russian well.
So in the original dub, are the characters speaking Russian or Ukrainian?
It depends on who you're talking to. Most people other than Duty, ecologists, mercs and Monolith speak Ukrainian, and the ones I just mentioned speak Russian.
Not Ukrainian but love this. Now I am having Russian - Ukrainian wars in Warfare mod. If only that German speaking mercenary mod was not deleted now.
Pretend that the mercs are from all around the northeastern European area.
Cool :) Where are you from?
And which factions do you use for Ukrainian army and which for pro-Russian separatists?
I am working on the project "Stalker COC War in Ukraine", inspired by current events.

Oh ****! Is this the original Soc Ukraine voices? I remember back in the 2007 I was trying to get rid of Czech Dubbing and I've found RU voices EN voices AND UA voices in there. Since then I never found them In steam version. That one was Retail DVD version tho. So UA voices should exist somewhere =D
I put the Ukrainian voices from all STALKER games together and made this.
well then I must ask you. Since I no longer posses that poor poor retail version nor do I posses DVD mechanic of any kind, would you do me a solid one and throw somewhere the ukraine voice pack for ShoC? It would be amazing. When I google I only ever can find the russian audio pack.
I already looked and the scenario and cutscene audio is not in the COC - I pressume that it is because it isn't needed there. Or Im utterly blind =D
Here. Files.gsc-game.com
Amazing! thank you!
Good Job.
Thanks.
Just noticed that the vanilla folder has character_desc_general and character_desc_simulation from AO3 compatibility folder, making stalkers spawn with no guns in vanilla
My fault. It's been fixed now, mod's updated to version 3.1.
You work fast, thanks
Didn't feel like unpacking and editing character desc general because oh god
You shouldn't have had to, I'm just glad to have fixed this.
Comrade author, I think I have a problem here, could you help? After installing this mod, usual stalkers ceased to talk. Only Duty, Mercs, and Monolith still talk Russian. But on the other hand - all "important" characters speak in Ukrainian: Forester, Sakharov, Fanatic for example. Is there a way to fix it?
It could be yet another error on my part, or something new in CoC that undoes the mod's work. You sure you've got the human_**_ukr folders in gamedata\sounds\characters_voice, as well as a bunch of files in gamedata\configs\gameplay?
Yup, I threw all files in their directories. .ogg format phrases are working, if I open up them from folder
Turns out the Arsenal Overhaul patch wasn't updated for the mod's change in directories. It's fixed now.
Oh, thank you so much, tovarisch!
Your 10/10 is well deserved.
Thanks. I'm glad an Ukrainian thinks well of the mod.

Could you please tell me why does Duty, Monolith, Ecologists and Mercenaries still speak Russian instead of Ukrainian? You weren't able to find Ukrainian voicelines, or they were simply not implemented into the game? I'm curious.
I was wrong about the ecologists, they speak Ukrainian now. But the rest don't have any other sound files in the STALKER games. I suppose GSC knows best when it comes to that kind of stuff.
I'm using this mod right now and I love this mod. For someone that understands the big differences beetween Ukrainian and Russian it totally changes the view on game characters. I guess if you only speak English this mod is totally ******* useless if you don't understand what it's about.
I would not want to go back now, this mod is very authentic and I like that a lot. Hearing the Ukrainian slang and dialect is amazing.
Zdravo brate, hvala. I've updated the mod. Enjoy. :D
WOOOOOO UPDATE
Sorry for being so late, guys. I'm gonna archive Alternative Voices and focus on this mod instead. That mod was really annoying to work with for what it did, and it isn't even all that different from this mod.
I've incorporated a couple of changes that are written in the changelog, which were present in Alternative Voices. And I've obviously updated the mod and its compatibility patches.
I've spent my whole morning working on this. Time to have breakfast and take a shower.
As a Duty player i'm sad that my faction was one of the few that didn't have this awesome language.. Ohh well :)
No idea why it was posted as guest instead of my account..
It makes sense. They're paramilitary and could recruit all kinds of people, so they gotta be organized and thus Russian would be ideal.
