Immersive Reshade is an atmospheric and lore friendly reshade that uses the Reshade 4.0 framework to enhance the visuals. I'm back tweaking reshades since I'm back to playing the game. Specifically Anomaly which in my opinion is the best incarnation of CoC or CoM to date. I've tweaked the reshade from scratch for Anomaly. THIS RESHADE IS FOR ANOMALY! DOES NOT WORK FOR CoC. If you'd like to try this for COC download the base RESHADE from the RESHADE website, install for CoC and just drop my final.ini file in the bin folder. Then select "final" from the drop down menu when you press home. Keep in mind that I use this reshade on a color accurate and calibrated monitor so your mileage may vary!
If there are further changes to the graphics of Anomaly, I will update accordingly!
Changelog 4.1
Removed Levels effect as it was making things (bodies, items, etc) too dark while indoors, sometimes pitch black. Compensated with increasing the effect of Curves and ToneMap. Upped the sharpening a tiny bit. Also Removed DPX as it was redundant and sometimes washed out the image indoors.
Removed Sepia as I've tweaked the other settings (tonemap, ambient light, and curves) to no longer need it. Tweaked the other settings above as to not cause any artifacts, or the sky becoming washed out. Indoor lighting should be smoother now. Added FXAA (light)
Removed FXAA as it was causing weird jitters. Tweaked Smaa as a result and tweaked Curves some more as well. Added lumasharpen (tweaked.)
Added Lightroom which in turn cleared up the image a lot. Probably the most important update so far and fixed most issues I've had so far. The picture is no longer muddy and the colors show without it ruining the stalker look.
Fixed Issue that was pointed out to me about shader compiling.
Finally was able to get display depth working in order to get MXAO (ambient occlusion) working. Added Technicolor and tweaked ambient light.
Replaced Tone Map with Lift Gamma Gain as it gave me more control. Tweaked other settings and HAVE BEGUN TO ADD DOF. It's not in this version but once I get it down I'll upload it on here as an optional setting as it hits the fps pretty hard. Yet, expect ENB levels of DOF.
Added Clarity (For ENB like effects.) I'm getting close to what I'd like for this reshade to become.
Updated to latest reshade as well as tweaked some values in relation to white balance. Also Included my in game settings for those looking to replicate my look. Instructions on how to apply are in the readme file. Make sure to back up your own settings in case you want to go back!

Looks pretty good.
Pretty thing. Thx you! Working good.
The reshade seems to be summed up as: Brightening, so I wonder how it'll work with 1.5 as meatchunk has fixed the weathers to make them a lot brighter. Will it be doubly bright or just a slightly brighter level?
The Reshade actually darkens if you right click at the screenshots and open in a new window. The screenshots are also blurrier than they are actually in game. I can explain what each Thing does. Curves is for contrast. Film Grain is for what it sounds. Ambient light alters the amount of ambient light that is in an image based on how much light there is to begin with. I've tweaked that setting so it wouldn't brighten the image too much. If you'd like to see this in action go to a sunny area and disable/enable the reshade to see how much the image changes from that setting. Cartoon helps with the tree branches looking too skinny/jittery. If you've played stalker you'd know what I'm talking about. I'll admit I couldn't eliminate the issue as its an x ray engine problem but I've reduced it. Sepia is self explanatory as is colourfulness. Tonemap alters the contrast but mainly of the background/map. Sharpen sharpens lol. Smaa helps with jaggies but I didn't want to overdo it. Vignette darkens the corners. All in all the reshade does more than just brighten but I'm always still tweaking. I play on maximum settings on Dx10. As for 1.5, I haven't messed around with CoC in a long time as this is made for Anomaly. I see that the development has seemingly frozen so you are more then welcome to tweak this reshade yourself. Once 1.5 r7 plus the weapon pack is out. I'll mess around with tweaking CoC again. All in all in AMONALY, it keeps the image from being washed out. If you've played and compared Anomaly side by side with or without reshade you'd know what I mean. I'm sorry if this is a bit long, just trying to explain.
Getting rid of the wash out and adding texture clarity is the main driving point for me personally to use reshade. I have my own flavor that I may upload soon, but I enjoy what you have done with yours.
I often use Reshade to simply add some Lumasharpen. Just a slight amount makes a huge different in my opinion.
AMONALY ZA !
How do I unbind the "delete" key?
You can press home and go the second tab on the top and you'll see a section that you can unbind or change the delete key.
Tnx.
Well the setting tab was all mess up.I think you need to change dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll in Win10.I did and I can edit the setting now.
That looks insane!
I recommend to delete the un-used shaders on the "reshade-shaders\Shaders\". That helps to load faster reshade each time you load game.
I will when I'm done tweaking the reshade as I'm still tweaking it and adding new effects/taking some out.
when i start the game in the main menu i get some errors saying that some shaders dont work or someting like that
Fixed the issue, check the latest release. If you have any more problems let me know.
thx a lot now its ok...keep the good work
i have a question about showing fps on screen narrowing my monitor. how can i fix that ? (sorry for my english)
Press home, go to the second tab on the top and I don't exactly remember but the option fps toggle should be there. Sorry I left that in there for performance reasons. I'm still gathering data on the fps difference in certain areas with or without reshade.
Not working with Call Of Chernobyl 1.5 R6, renaming dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll yields no results. No crashing, reshade just refuses to launch.
Like I said this is for ANOMALY if you were to read the description.
Oh ****, I'm VERY sorry. That clears up things now, lol.

When I press home, nothing pops up. Is it because I am Windows 10? (I'm using 14.22 version of CoC)
That's because this is for ANOMALY lol, sorry I'm not trying to be mean but read the description.
Well then, you said that it does not work for 1.5 not for CoC itself. Thanks for the explanation though.
Did you at least try the workaround? The reason it doesn't work is because anomaly uses a 64 bit version of the engine.
DoF?
None what so ever.
any one know how change stalker coc language i cant change it to english
As in, the dialogue?
the text
hello...what is it with the text when you start the game in the main menu about ,,there is a new update for reshade v4.1.1 download from reshade.me"
Hey! Did you download the latest version of Immersive Reshade? If you'd do that it should eliminate the message. Just uninstall all traces of the immersive reshade then install again.
yes i download the last Immersive Reshade and i just copy paste and i got the thing i just write...i try to reinstall the game with fresh install...well i did a fresh install and is still the same
Try the latest release. Just uploaded.
seems that is working now...thx a lot...keep the good work
Way more exciting than RTX On/Off comparisons :)
I'm trying to get "photorealisticZone 1.4" to work on x64 engine by replacing the 32bit dll to 64bit.
The problem is that the 64 dll doesn't seem to load my custom lut texture. The color is all messed up and very dark or greenish. If you check PRZ's file, there are two lut images, mclut and mclut3d, they are the different type of image, my custom texture is mclut type. In PRZ(CoC) if you enable USE_LUT in MasterEffect.h, it will load "mclut.png" and ignore mclut3d. I suspect the 64bit version dll can only load mclut3d type of texture.
Is there anyway to let the 64bit dll load the mclut type of texture?
Edit: Figured it out.
How did you get it to work I'm curious?

There's no reason to have:
2 Sharpening shaders (FilmicAnamorphSharpen and FineSharp)
2 Film Grain shaders (FilmGrain and Filmgrain2)
2 Color saturation shaders (Colourfulness and Technicolor2)
3 Brightness shaders (LiftGammaGain, Curves and Technicolor2)
You could potentially increase performance by keeping them down to 1 shader each.
hello, when i start the game it says a new update is available, can you update it, thx
hey mate can you update this cause in the game it says there is a new update
no more new updates... :((
an update is not really necessary, it still works perfectly as intended.
This is actually pretty good!
I really like your reshade, but it makes the game very dark. Is there any setting i could change to brighten the whole thing up a bit? I already tried the games gamma setting but it didnt seem to do anything.
How do I save my shade settings? so i dont have to redo them everytime i change the graphic settings
From what shaders I tested, this is IMHO the best. It doesn't make the game too saturated, too contrasted or too dark. I only don't understand why there are some shaders doubled activated.
I run reshade (pressing home etc) but then I click new game and the game CTD - what's going wrong
