Original Weapon Renewal 3 addon for Call of Chernobyl 1.5 R6 only
Installation:
Copy the database folder into Call of Chernobyl 1.5 root. The addon is packed into DB files, do not copy it into gamedata. If you use Dx8 or 9 apply this fix.
The addon was reconfigured to use vanilla stats with very small differences. Additional weapons were moved to special versions, the Glock17 and Steyr Aug no longer replace the Sig220 and FN2000.
Fixed:
ui_icon_equipment.dds - added missing scopes and improved color marks, fixed overhanging icons
ogg-comments on sounds
Removed:
OWR3 shell particles, it made the effect oversized.
Known problems:
Pump animation on shotguns can be skipped. Not possible to fix as it depends on RPM.
Camera movement jumps back to original position after tactical reloads.
Incorrect muzzle flash position when using a scope.
Please report issues in the comments and post the log after you crash.

I don't know what i did wrong.
I changed from DX8 to DX11 and that fixed it.. Haven't tried any other render options. edit; DX10 works as well.
I changed it and now it's fixed. Thank you!

Same here. I would use the correct DX's bu using DX 8 really helps with my PC because its pretty low end so if team epic can make a patch it would be amazing

Gimp exported the texture 1px too wide while it shows 2048x2048 canvas size.
The File can not be found anymore, it doesn't work on Dx9

It's an official addon meant to work on the most up to date version. Next version will come with R7.

I'm not sure about the grenades, but upgrades use the new vanilla configs, so it has to work.

Using R5 no other add-ons and things run great. Thanks for the DX8 fix.
Wondering when support for DX8 is going to end? I even have to run .22 in DX8 so you can see my concern.
It does work with 1.5 r6. I don`t know if this add-on is the largest, if it adds most weapons or it is most popular one ... and I don`t care. For it is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL one. All weapons are so well remade, that are just like new one. The textures are the highest quality I`ve seen for any add-on. Masterfully done, thank you, Sir. Evaluation 10 from 10.
For some reason the ironsights zoom in so far it's like 5-10 FOV. Been searching for a solution but no success. I really love this mod, but this is a bit game breaking.
You are using wrong game version. Zoom calculation was changed in R5.
Has accuracy been tweaked? Most people I know who use weapon mods immediately fixed the accuracy/damage etc when they installed them.
Guns should be accurate even without upgrades.

I was going to start porting Lt's. OWR fixes for it but noticed it's packed into DB files, and the current extractor don't extract the files, do you know how can I extract them?
OWR fixes will break the mod. If you read the description you can see it uses vanilla configs.
Simply add addons folder to the bat file.
That's why I said I was going to start porting it, I love his addon, it really fixes everything, from nades to accuracy, I've read that some of these are fixed already though, but thanks for the help, gonna try that later

The icon for AS VAL is messed up. Also the running animation of Vintorez is vanilla.

the reload animation for the mp5 (partial reload) has a camera sway that snaps back to default position and looks off.
Read description, it's a known bug I can't fix.

Funny. Always been spelled Hydrashock in vanilla and other mods.
Hydra-Shok is a trademarked term. Maybe it was deliberately mis-spelled to avoid copyright infringement.
