Hi, this is a tutorial to teach noobie players of what to do when they encounter this problem, (I am not addressing that you are the noobie one, you might be or you might not)
Also, play the mod on steam is the best way to solve all the problem, i load the mod in less than 30 seconds, (On Ultra Highest settings)
OMG MY GAME CRASH WHEN I JOIN A SERVER?
Answer: Perhaps your version and the server's version is different. Look at the welcome message + the server name to find out which version the server is running. If the server is running version 8.0 and you have 9.40, game will crash. Also game will crash when there is too many people on the server
OMG MY GAME CRASH WHEN MAP CHANGED?
Answer: when you think the map was about to change, press Alt+ Enter to switch it back to window mode, when the map have changed and you didn't crash, press Alt+ Enter to switch back to full screen again
OMG MY GAME CANNOT LOAD AND IT STUCK ON LOADING SCREEN, WHAT TO DO?
Answer; Extra Invasion is the largest warband multiplayer mod on warband's history, it contain tons of textures and models and files. To make sure it runs smoothly, first run the game with texture % rate to 10, after the game is loaded, go to game option and change back texture details back to 100%, then it will work. If you have a very good/ decent PC you will run Extra Invasion fine, i run everything on highest settings and I have no problem
OMG MY GAME IS MESSED UP AND I CANNOT PLAY EXTRA INVASION WHY?
Answer: Your download is either corrupt or you are one of those noob who didn't read the full instruction and didn't install it properly.
Try redownload and follow the steps then u're ok and ready to go, if you still have problems with the game please post it here or to find us for help, we are very happy to help you
OMG IS THERE ANYWAY THAT I CAN INSTALL EXTRA INVASION IN A EASY WAY?
Answer: Yes, go and get desura, then install Extra Invasion (It's much faster and its very easy)
OMG GAME KEEPS CRASHING AFTER BOTS SPAWN/ GAME LAG!!!
Answer: Your Pc might not be good enough to handle it (On fantasy invasion it is very possible that you will lag), try lower graphics

What to do to solve it?1) Play in dx7 if you don't mind crappy graphics (100% no lag at all in dx7)
2) Lower your settings in dx9
3) Lower the amount of corps (Dead bodies)
4) Upgrade your PC/ laptop / get a better graphics card
5) Use Game booster or similar programs that can boost your PC
6) Find your way out, shouldn't be hard
7) Turn off Corpse/ particles
8) lower texture details
9) the more players = more lag, so when you have lots of people on server please turn down ur graphics a bit
10) different invasions will have different lags
11) Turn off all shadows first, then when you are in the game turn them back on
