We're halfway May and I'm in the middle of my exams. But that doesn't stop me from making progress with Left 4 Theft.

This week I had some fun developing the mod, I've added some fun new things and solved some mod-killing problems.

  • Finally created the mission for the survivor camp in Angel Pine.
  • Created the survivor mission in San Fierro.
  • Fixed a bug in the second bandit mission in SF.
  • Safe camps are now enabled right in the beginning of the game, but in order to save your game and heal there you'll have to do the required mission.
  • Created the first cultist camp, more will follow!
  • Found a way to increase the limit of San Andreas' script. I can finally add limitless content.
  • Made the installation much easier for version 2.0, files in the GTA3.img are not necassary anymore.

Plans for next week:

  • Create the last bandit mission in San Fierro.
  • Start working on Las Venturas.
  • Create more cultist camps.
  • Start working out my idea of a 'basic' save point in each city so you can save your game in LS and SF in the beginning of the game without enabling the safe camp save points.

That's pretty much it for this weeks. I can't wait to see what I'll accomplish next week. Stay tuned!

Nice work on the script limits and the GTA3.img files! Have you already thought about giving the zombies a bigger role? Because now they're only a small part of the mod and they don't really play a big part in the mod. They don't seem that important at the moment, the mod wouldn't look very different without them, if you know what I mean. ;)

Las Venturas and probably bone county will be heavily infected, read the Las Venturas feature for more info. :)
