The Tales of Fyrndell team will begin this release with a little information that has been published on our profile but not formally announced on ModDB--we have chosen to modify The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for purposes of creating our tech demo. It provides the technology and power we require for our demo, and will suit our needs as best it can. With that said, the game will undergo heavy modification, not only with new content, but with heavy engine changes to implement our Real Time Strategy system and integrate it with First-Person.

And now onto the concept art our team has worked very hard on, which will hopefully be met with more constructive criticism rather than open and personal attacks:

The Trythian Royal Guardsmen are used as bodyguards for generals and commanders, as well as the last defense of a city's keep. Generally recruited from noble families, there is one Royal guardsman assigned to each squad in every legion, bearing the squad's flag.

Trained from poor families in Trythian villages and settlements, Trythian archers are skilled in woodland areas. They are able to track and use bows decently. Often having lived lives as hunters, most Trythian archers are accustomed to hardship. They are equipped with leather armour and use hand-made bows and, in some cases, iron shortswords as secondary weapons.
