The march continues across Eastern Europe as NATO's fragile line of defences fall one by fall to the fearsome red army. An easy feat, it was not however, despite the red army's grand number of ground troops, maintaining morale is double if not triple the feat.
To ensure that the march goes on unhalted, PLAGF command has send forward extra ground support to the front line, deploying several deliberate warfare and propaganda tactics. The aim is to cover and support the advancement of ground troops and boost morale across all fronts.
PLA "Toudan (or Blitz)" squad is the long-range fire support team of PLAGF. They provide indirect fire and cover support for ground troops. Their static nature and the range of their weapon makes them extremely venerable to most threats on the battlefield if left unguarded.
Armaments: Type-67 82mm mortar with deployable bipod.
Body armours: None.
PLA "Zhuzhang (or Advocates)" squad is a unique operative unit of the PLAGF. These juveniles strongly belief in communism and their magnificent ideal leader. They would wave their national flag to provide morale support for nearby ground troops, and they gladly fall before their great nation does.
Armaments: Unarmed.
Body armours: None.
PLA "Xianchang Junyi (or Field Medics)" squad is the combat ready medical unit of the PLAGF. They provide first aid and AED support for ground troops while being able to conventionally survive the harshness of the battlefield.
Armaments: Type-81 assault rifle and Type-86P grenades.
Body armours: None.
Extra Equipments: PLA's military standard first aid kit and field-deployable AED.
Capture time: 32 seconds.
PLA "Xianchang Xianfeng (or Field Pioneers)" squad is the combat ready engineering unit of the PLAGF. They provide mine detection and field repair for damage vehicles in combat. They maybe upgraded with Type-81 C4 satchel charge for demolition operations in place of the existing construction shovel.
Armaments: HP9-1 short pump action shotgun and Type-81 C4 satchel charge (upgrade).
Body armours: None.
Extra Equipments: PLA's military standard shovel and HC-02 welding tool.
Capture time: 32 seconds.
To be continued ...
This all looks very interesting but i'm really curious to see the animations behind all these heavy weapon teams.
I happened to have some sneaky demo videos right here.

Have them anyplace other than facebook?

All credits obviously go to VectorIV,
just wanted to help people.
Nice animations VectorIV :D
Glarg, if you're wondering, you don't have to have an account or be logged in to see the animations on FB.
are all of those teams?(mobs) apart from mortar squad, others quite look like render of one unit from different sides.
a video showing them in-game would be best, as i understand they won't come till next big patch.
None of them are mobs. Weapon teams are one unit, others are built like the original Red Guards.
Can't wait to see the improvements for the other factions
Let me guess, Google translation?
What gave it away? :P
The fact that "Xianchang Junyi" makes absolutely no sense unless you're talking about medics in a reality show or something XD. Actually the only one that sort of makes sense here is the "Toudan" squad.
So, what would make sense? Drop some better names/themes in the tongue for as close possible accuracy :D
Change "toudan squad" to "zhidanbing squad"(grenadiers), "zhuzhang squad" to "zhiqishou squad"(flag wielder) and "xianchang junyi" to "zhandi junyi"(field medics), and done
