After the events at Parth Galen, the Fellowship of the Ring lay broken and scattered. With Boromir felled by Orc arrows, Merry and Pippin were taken by the surviving Uruk-hai.
Trailing not far behind them were the Three Hunters: Aragorn, Son of Arathorn; Gimli, Son of Gloin; and Legolas of the Woodland Realm.
In Shadow and Flame, The Three Hunters will lend their aid to as a late game summon to Rohan, working as a three man shock troop. We have given them powers to represent their status as the Hunters as well as their haste to catch the Uruk-hai before they could bring the Hobbits to Saruman.
Aragorn, Son of Arathorn
- Hunter - Passive. When nearby Legolas and Gimli, Aragorn gains +10% attack and +5% speed
- Kingsfoil - Aragorn's healing skills mends the wounds of nearby heroes and units
- Master Swordsman - Aragorn gains +50% damage and +50% armor
- Heir of Isildur - Nearby units gain +50% armor and +150% experience
Not only will Aragorn be getting a new model, but he will also be receiving brand new animations made to match the old hack and slash Return of the King game.
Legolas Greenleaf
- Hunter - Passive. When nearby Aragorn and Legolas, Gimli gains +10% attack and +5% speed
- Skill of the Elves - Legolas fires two arrows towards his foe
- White Knives - Legolas gains +100% armor and +25% damage
- Arrows of Lorien - Legolas quickly shoots down nearby enemies with the bow of the Galadhrim
Legolas's powers are mostly unchanged from vanilla, except that they are made more powerful so that the Son of Thranduil can give proper aid to the Men of Rohan.
Gimli, Son of Gloin
- Hunter - Passive. When nearby Legolas and Aragorn, Gimli gains +10% attack and +5% speed
- Axe Throw - Gimli hurls his axe at nearby foes, pinning heroes in place and damaging surrounding enemies.
- Natural Sprinter - Dwarves are natural sprinters. Gimli gains a +30% speed bonus for a limited time
- Khazâd ai-mênu! - Gimli gains +60% damage and +25% armor
Gimli has become a walking armory as he was in Peter Jackson's film. By mixing his powers together, Gimli can easily take down any hero who may be unlucky enough to be spotted by the feisty dwarf. For his Khazâd ai-mênu! power, Gimli shouts the ancient battle cry of the Dwarves and starts felling his foes with Balin's axe.
That's it for this update. We hope you've enjoyed!

Great work!I like their Abilities, they fit perfect for the Hunter Role :)
Pretty nice implementation! Really like new look of models, everything is nicely done! Good job! :)
P.S. Really like new look of Galadhrim bow! :)
Looks awesome :D
They are awesome :D
Also, if you are planing to rework the campaign, will Aragorn get some visual changes after the battle of Helms Deep ( the armor he wore ) and after the siege of Minas Tirith, will he get his new gondorian armor that was shown at the Black Gate ? :D
He will progress from Ranger to King. I'm not a fan of his Helms Deep outfit at all, so the likelyhood for that is low. But I may give in. His Black Gate armor however will definitely be in.
His Helm's Deep outfit will definitely be in. I *am* a fan!
Great Work!
Looks great! keep up the good work!
I can't believe how life like they look their not "flat" at all
This name made me to track the mod
I'm NOT (repeat NOT) asking for release dates.
I recently went back playing the game so have a completely vanilla 1.03 version installed.
My question is: What should my mod install order be? Is there any that are must haves, to run later versions, or are there any that are incompatible with others.
This is probably the wrong place to ask this, sorry
This game does not work like Skyrim. You can't run more than one mod at a time, they're generally not 'compatible'.
What mod is you using that makes the beautiful graficks?
We use some post-processing effects to enhance the game's visuals a bit, but no other mods are present other than what is included in Shadow and Flame.
