The final full-map release of the Fourth Age series, entitled The Dominion of Men, is nearing release. You can find out more on our TWCenter.net forum. When the mod is released we will update the Moddb.com entry for the Fourth Age in its entirety as the current version will then be obsolete.
Some areas of 3D work are the major hurdle for release, with also some 2D work still being required. Virtualy every other aspect of the mod is completed or very near to be completed. 3D and 2D artists are welcome to apply on the TWcenter.net forums if they are able to help us out in this final sprint finish ;)
Thank you for your patience. This is going to be a mod that blows you away!
Woot, can't wait!
Nice!
Awesome !
Will the dwarves be in the campaign?
The will, along with many more new factions.
Will the Goblins be in the campaign? Or will they be added at all? See also my comment below.

CAN YOU TELL US WHEN IT WILL BE RELEASING
Will Goblins be added? Because they were always their own independent race, and after the war of the ring they would no longer be bound to Sauron. Goblins weren't exactly in the trilogy as a kingdom because they were fighting for Sauron or Sauruman. At the Battle of the Five Armies they faced the Dwarves, Elves, and Dale and almost won. I think they deserve a place in the Dominion of men, they still exist, and not being so involved in the war meant they had time to grow. Please at least take this into consideration.
For one, 'Goblins' and Orcs are the exact same thing. 'Goblin' is just a word Hobbits use to refer to Orcs.
As this is set some 200 years into the Fourth Age, the Dwarves
have retaken Khazad-dûm, and this has led to them expanding into the Misty Mountains.
The Orcs dwelling there have lost much of their former strength, but survive as they have always had.
As far as I know, the Misty Mountains Orcs are not a faction.
However, they will probably be in 'Rebel' settlements there, and the Chiefdom of Dunland will be able to breed and use them if they embrace the Shadow Cult.
I hope this has somewhat clarified things a little.
It kindof is, but in Lord of the Rings Orcs and Goblins were two separate races. The goblins of the Misty Mountains and the Orcs of Mordor etc. (Or at least from my sources) And the Misty Mountains is very large... But say you're right, will Goblins be recruitable for Dunland? Or only Orcs?
In the books, 'Goblin' is a word used by Hobbits to refer to Orcs, with even the Uruk-hai being referred to as 'Goblins' at times.
In the 'DoM Gameplay Mechanics and Features Overview' news, it mentions Orcish strongholds scattered throughout the map, which can be cleansed (And there is a chance you might find items and Troll-hoards too).
The Misty Mountains units will be available solely to Dunland.
Can't wait for this to be finished.
