First model screenshot, and for the rest an overall lack of update due to a very hectic week.

Posted by MrNokill on May 1st, 2012

A later update this week due to Queens day in the Netherlands and because we are working hard to get everything prepared for a motion capture shoot.

None the less here is the first screenshot of the Base model created by Robert Brown, you can find more screenshots and a Turn Table on his site.

3D Base Model

The model has the exact measurements as the Sword Fighter so overall looks might be different from the concept.

Next week we will be posting video material of the shoot. Wish us luck!

Excellent Model, nice sculpt. The textures have too little variation for my taste. At least the gauntlets and pants could have a different color from all the other leather. It looks a bit too uniform to me.

The bandages and the blade have the same hue, so in the thumbnail I thought he was pulling bandages from his body (which would be cool too). A little yellow tint on the bandages would help, imo.

Thanks, the textures are a bit boring for the reason to make this character seem more neutral, we might tweak certain parts but don't expect big changes.

For the yellow tint your in luck, the bandages get a little tint in evening sun light in-game.

I don't think the textures look boring at all. The style is very original. I love it.

I agree. There's something mysterious in character and that's probably the point, since it's neutral character and, I'll call it fate, isn't decided yet. So here is mystery: who will he become.
