True Stalker will be out in 2023!
We are currently working hard to improve the mod, fixing bugs and even adding new content.
Many players expected the mod to release in 2022. This was indeed our initial intent, but the path of modding is no less anomalous and bumpy than artifact hunting in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. However, we will do our absolute best to reach our goal next year!
On that note, it’s our pleasure to present a new trailer made specifically for the 2022 AP-PRO Showcase held on Nov 27. We spent a lot of time thinking about what interesting and new things we’d reveal to the playerbase, given that we’ve released enough trailers over the years that have shown the mod’s many different aspects. This time, we’ve decided to showcase how the game has changed in comparison to Shadow of Chernobyl in terms of game levels, atmosphere, graphics and the combat system, plus a few excerpts from the story and side quests (which is, after all, the project’s main focus). Attentive players will surely discover many other unmentioned details.
Of course, it’s worth mentioning that the trailer soundtrack was made by our composer, Anger of Darkness.

Also, thank you for not keeping the Western fans in the dark. The fact that this is releasing with an official translation is enough reason to have respect for the project.

I can wait years for a good end product, and True Stalker looks something beyond that. There is a reason it's one of, maybe the, most anticipated mods of the recent years for many.
Those aren't blinded by those dime-a-dozen, hyper popular freeplay mods and anyone who didn't start the game only because of Misery, Anomaly etc. can see that this story mod is something to get excited for.
Up there in my most wanted next to OLR 3.0.

I think that most of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. players, are patient enough, to wait a year. Especially, when it has such great visuals, amazing atmosphere and working GUNSLINGER with the 64bit engine.
Also, thanks for linking that video! It was very well-made, and it shows pretty much what we all wanted to see.

There will be an English translation, and you can expect it to be on the same level as the trailer subtitles. I dare say this will be the best mod translation in STALKER history.

I've been playing the STALKER games since they first came out and played through countless mods since then. I can truly say that I'm beyond impressed with the amazing work done here.
