Firstly,
I would like to apologise to anyone who has downloaded TIS parts 1 & 2 since Valves last SDK
update.From what I can tell, they are now totally unplayable, which was not the case prior to the update.
This same update seems to have also broken the faceposer choreography system and rendered significant parts of TIS 3 useless!
I was planning to use the demo recorder in HL2 to present a new video of one of these scenes when I suddenly discovered the it was no longer working. I was totally gob-smacked and used a lot of strong language I can tell you. Until this moment the only odd things that I had noticed were that the Flash-light seemed to have a different effect and it no longer had a power level indicator and could be used without it running out of battery. A sidebar overlay had also changed its level of transparency, to which I thought “I can alter that” and apart from this I had seen no real problems which had been reported by so many other mod teams.
Oh how relieved I felt until Nash22 and Cr3mat0r nagged me quite rightly for an update on the mod and I discovered what had really been broken.
As it stands, TIS 3 was going to rely quite heavily on faceposer to relate a large part of the story in the conclusion to our tale of an unfortunate Intern. We are now waiting for a fix to the update before making any announcements on progress.
C'mon Valve, get it SORTED!

No wonder TIS 1 didn't work today, TIS 2 did though.
