Hello It was a long time ago since the last news But we worked hard on English Bid for Power the next version is 2.5! This Version is Fully Cell Shaded,all Maps,Models,Attacks all was Cell Shaded and in Version 2.5 it looks like more Dragonball =) But this is not all in Version 2.5 are many Bugfixes and New Maps and Characters. We hope we can released this Version this Year ;)

So you took ioq3 and applied the horrible "cell shading" patch.. That does not require "hard work" at all.

again i'm not trying to be overly harsh here but the cell shading is overdone, i know you guys get a lot of bashing for people saying this mod is "stolen" etc. I'm not here to debate that atm but i will offer you some help with this with some constructive criticism. The cell shading lines are too think and black and because the textures were made to look cartoony in the first place it only makes things look waaay too plain. For a better idea of how to do cell shading i suggest you look at Dream Casters Duel mod. Hope that helps a little guys and gd luck!

This Screens are old i think 1 or 2 months....

well the vid does look better than the screens but it still doesn't change the fact the texture artist didn't design his textures with cell shading in mind so the cell shading on characters doesnt match the more relisitic textures on some of the maps etc. Also you need to think about smoothing ur sky boxes u can see the edges on that vid pretty clearly. Anyway keep it up. I'm confused though this is a standalone right? Who is your modeller, animator, texture artist etc? because if your going down the cell shaded route you should really rethink ur art from the ground up a little :D

Aeneas2020 is right, cel-shading really needs to be designed from the ground up. In most games, only the characters get cel-shaded. I'd redesign the characters to take the cel-shading into account (re-do the hair so that there are less polys for one), flatten out the textures like Aeneas2020 said, and code so that the effect is applied selectively. Or I'd just get rid of the cel-shading, m2c.

the outlines are too dark, and all the outlines shouldn't be the same shade.

outline of people should be light

ridges in the characters face, clothes, etc. should be darker than the outline of them.

outlines on buildings and objects should be very light.

ridges in the ground, and land, hill, and mountain outlines should be the darkest but not as dark as you got it.
