Teaser Video for Next Major Release of CQM news

I am happy to report that I have news regarding version four of Clan Quest Mod. I've been working diligently on completing the project, and I've been focusing the majority of my time and effort on creating a new hub map where these extra adventures will take place. Have a look below at the first preview video for CQM 4.0, prominently featuring this hub.

The overall status of the project is moving along steadily as well. In my last update, I indicating there was zero progress in developing new character models, but maybe the most prominent update I can give is that I've been collaborating with Lenusk@ of the Antitribu project; we've been helping each others' projects along, and of course, she has to CQM lent her fantastic talents making new and colorful characters for Bloodlines. The overall health of the project is as follows:

New Maps / Environment: 80%
With most of the new hub completed, this has moved ahead quite a bit. Though there's still some smaller maps to make, and plenty of polish to be applied yet.

Writing / Dialog: 70%
This has slowed down quite a bit as I've devoted most of my time to map making. Although one of the more major characters has had a fair bit of her dialog filled in now.

Programming / Cut Scenes: 45%
Still so much to do here, but the basic skeleton of most of the new quests have been filled out.

Voice: 5%
It was a struggle, but I finally got my Faceposer program working again! Additionally, I've cast the first voice actor for one of the roles, and I've animated one of the bit characters.

Models: 40%
As noted, Lenusk@ has been a huge help and a good friend in aiding with this aspect of the project.


I've also decided I'm going to release a secondary patch for version 3.1 of CQM, so expect a 3.1.2 patch sometime in the next month or so. This will only be a bug patch to fix a few issues people have pointed out.


Finally, if you're not following me on Twitter or Youtube I encourage you to do so. I've been releasing weekly Let's Play videos of Bloodlines. The first ten chapters are currently up and we'll soon be getting to the actual Clan Quest content. I'm playing as a Tremere!
