After many hours of mapping, bug fixing, and filming throughout all last week we are happy, and proud, to announce the first in a series of 4 pre-release trailers that will run up until the 25th of December, 2008. For those of you who don't know how to read a calendar that would be Christmas.
Along with this trailer we are releasing a number of screenshots from abydos, as well as screenshots from maps that are current works in progress, Erebus from Jeroen 'Xanthi' van Werkhoven, Lockdown (SGC) from Ben 'MajorC4' Palmer and Brecht 'Brechtos' Lecluyse, and Nahautl from Louis 'Foeaxe' Deane. This trailer is a demonstration of of the beautiful map Abydos created by our very own Brecht 'Brechtos' Lecluyse and the wondrous game play it provides. We have also included some of our final weapon loadouts. Without further adieu here is the trailer, we included a sneaky little surprise, see if you can spot it.

Looks brilliant guys... some nice effects with the staff weapons... the video was well done... looking forward to the release...

I thought this was the same one I tried for hl2 awhile ago. Yes I agree this looks much better.
Multyplayer? Single player? or both?

Well, this mod is "under development" for like three years or so now.
Don't be too excited and expect too much before 2010.
And if this mod will be released after all, I expect it to be superb, because in all that time you had you could create a full single player mod from scratch.
TLS because of problems with half the dev team getting lost, and programmers dissapearinig the mod only contains about one and a half years of work. But the quality you can expect will be much higher than any other stargate mod. And because of reasons i can't discuss the project will be released finished or not on the designated deadline
KamiSLO shut up, don't try to end your little comment with a "nice" message - It doesn't make up for your shity little troll.
Instead of making comments like that we would prefer it if you could just wait until the product is out. And as I always say if you think you can do it faster or better than go ahead.
Finally, out of the handfuls of Stargate mods we've all been seeing theres finaly one that really shines. :)

Indeed the mod has had some really big setbacks in it's dev time.
People leaving and not allowing their conent to be used, people making content that did not have the quality that was expected and different other things with people that just did not do their job or just left out of nowhere.
So all of this left a mess that had to be fixed (and thus explains the long wait).
Atm we have made sure that non of the above can and will ever happen again and are now focussing on delevering something that (hopefully:) ) makes you feel like you are part of show.
I don't think we should isolate to just 'the show', really I feel like we're attempting to create an immersion into the SG universe in general.
