Hello again.

So, its been while. Right? I've been quite busy lately with different things. Mostly the mod itself. And, guess what, it's pretty much done!

Yes, I've said that a couple of times. I've said the mod is near completion and its soon to be released. But, now it's actually true, I'm not lying to gain your trust!

Like I mentioned I've been very busy with stuffff. Like, for example school, which is often the main reason projects never gets completed. And even though I've continued working on the mod, hard as hell, I did not make it before Portal 2.
And let's think about that. The moment I'm writing this, its 28 days left before the release of Portal 2. That's nothing! That's less then one month!
My main goal was to release, at least one month before Portal 2. And I obviously failed that. There where also some problems with my voice actress who did the voice of our beloved friend, who is quite mysterious. Personal problems that is. She did quite alot of lines for me already, but there was about 40 left that she couldn't make.

So I got in contact with another voice actress completely. There is well over 100 line of voice for her, which she did quite quickly, in one go. Impressive indeed! But new voice actress means loads of new work.
I'm not going to go into detail. But lipsynching is the one that would take the most time. Especially when there are so many voice lines. And I just don't have enough time to finish that, and release one month before Portal 2. Cause you know, it's less then a month left now!

And why is it so important to release at least one month (I'd prefer even more time) before? Yes well, all the Portal 1 mods, will disappear, be shadowed by Portal 2. No one will care. Unfortunaly that's the truth. And I'm sharing it with you so you know it. And if you would release one or more months before it, the mod would at least gain enough momentum in popularity that all the work wouldn't be for nothing.

Now, now, cheer up. Want to know something funny? This was suppose to be released way back in November. Yeah, that was my deadline. But this went so much further and got so much interesting and deeper that I had to delay it. This has gone so much further then I first thought back in April when I created the first episode. Just to play around in the Portal engine that I previously haven't done.

So, to clear things up.

Factum Solus: Episode 2 will not be released before Portal 2. It will be released, and revamped after Portal 2. This mod will go dark and then come back after the launch of Portal 2. The episode could not be released earlier, due to lack of time to finish the mod and execute a major PR move that had been planned.
