This version is geared more towards C&C: Generals. A commander is chosen, he builds a base, the rest of the team work with the commander. To access the purchase terminal, press Q in a terminal zone. The commander can purchase buildings by pressing 2-4 keys based on the building they want to build and press Q to build it. Pressing 1 will change what buildings they can build.
Fixed wing aircraft are also involved in this version, as is commander based upgrades.
