Hello again dear HL1 mod fans. I apologize for not writing anything about the mod for a long time. Don't worry, it's in development and not only that, I'm ready to share some good news about it, so let's get started.
1| I am glad to announce that a coder has joined the development - ScriptedSnark. He kindly agreed to help with the project, as he was also interested in the idea of updating an old mod. For the fact that he joined, I want to thank another person who also decided to help in this matter, although not so actively due to being busy in other projects. This is of course LIL-PIF. A well-known modmaker and just a cool guy.
2| In the modification, the changes and fixes necessary for Release 1 have been made, when the mod is released, I will publish the Changelog. It is now 90% ready, but it will be necessary to make a few more tests for catching shoals, if any.
3| Modder Dakashi at the same time as me was also going to rework the mod, there was even an idea to join forces, but then we realized that we had different goals. For this reason, we did not start making the mod together, however, he will kindly pass on some of the developments that we will need, namely the English dub of the mod, since he is currently working on it.
Yes, unfortunately in Release 1 there will be no dubbing, but there will be full text in English.
4| As I wrote above, the remaster that I am doing with the team still has more significant changes than the original modification could have, therefore, I decided to rename the project in order to separate it from the main mod of 2003. Now the project is called:
The essence of the mod has remained the same, the plot has not been changed, but the gameplay and visuals will undergo changes, which is why I decided to change the name.
The mod still requires a mapper, of course LIL-PIF said that there is one person in mind that can help, but this is still in question.
Regarding the release, I can’t give an exact date yet, but if something happens, I’ll let you know about it next week.

Aweosome, but one thing: since the HEV viemodel hands are clearly using the HD ones, shouldn't the HEV suit w_model also be HD for consistency?
Hmm... well, except maybe redo the sleeves a bit, I'll see what I can do, just while I'm a little busy with other things

Is there any chance you could contact [_-=MTB=-_] about his Invasion revamped weapon animations? I think it would be nice to have them in the update.
I'll surprise you, but the project just uses animations from MTB plus a couple from LIL-PIF.
