Update from Hok'Ta(Lead Coder of SGMG):
It was planned to release the next version at the end of this month, but unfortunately there are some important things that simply can't be finished till then!
What is still to do:
- 2 or 3 minor models
- some sounds and the sound level of some others
- german and english texts
- space maps so the new buildings appear on the maps
- some icons
- most work is the codes:
- what is buildable on which planet
- events
- generally balancing
- general stuff
- some effects
Finally we must make a test run to find the last bugs...
I beg for appreciation that we can't accomplish it! It is mostly my fault but i'm working every free minute on this mod! I would estimate that we need 3 or 4 more weeks to finish it completely as we want it to be.
We will inform you about the process of the mentioned things!

If it adds in new things id be willing to wait a while. and the jump in detail between 0.7 and 0.8 was awesome so this should be even better
0.8 doesn't work on my computer. How do I get it to work?
i had the same problem. just try reinstalling it and make 100% sure that you are extracting it to the empire at war folder and that it is the correct directory.

The Beta 3 for FoC is very very old and not worth it anymore to be played.

the new title thingy says "coming 2009", does that mean that version 0.9 won't be finished until then or the full 1.0 version won't be finished until then?
