This is how the base expansion will work. You construct pylons that connect with resource extractors or other structures that need power.

You construct pylons and other structures by sending out Prospector drones which convert into which ever structure you need. When a pylon is built, it automatically connects with nearby pylons.

If a pylon gets destroyed then all the beams leading from it fail and the pylon will need to be rebuilt.
With the right technology you will also be able to use pylons to send units across the map and also turn them into defence towers.

Currently there are lack of shadows on the terrain due to a few lighting issues.

This is amazing, I have not been as hyped for a game since cortex command build 27, I hope you continue too create this epic game, Also did you get the idea for pylons from that game universe at war? its a pretty good idea :)

Oh its defiantly going to be made! Love working on it.
I think the original idea was from a really old game I used to play called Armageddon where you had to take out the enemy's power grid before it fully charged its super weapon and blew you up.
But thinking about it now it is quite similar to Universe at war lol. Oh well be fun to see the pylons from the FPS perspective, especially since they will have a few tricks up their sleeves with some special research.
