First of all I want to say thanks to everybody who's already backed the Kickstarter. With your help, we can publish Anarchy Arcade onto Steam and make it the most widely supported multiplayer 3D frontend that exists. With a strong & supportive community, the sky is the limit!

If you're excited about Anarchy Arcade but just can't afford to pledge right now, there's still ways that you can support the project. Share the Kickstarter with your friends! Tell them what you're excited about. You guys can even download the prototype for free and try it out, even in multiplayer! The more people that know about it, the better the chance it has to succeed!

Prototype Updated to Version 2.2d

This video is cut from a live recording of a friend showing me around his personal arcade.

To use VR, just have your Oculus Rift plugged in and ready to go and launch Anarchy Arcade with the -vr launch option. Most things can be done while in VR mode; however, displaying non-VR games & programs on the Oculus Rift headset can be uncomfortable so you probably shouldn't launch any shortcuts from your arcades until this is sorted out.

The in-game chat in Multiplayer arcades has been fixed, so now you can actually see what people are saying. Also, don't forget that voice chat works great in Multiplayer as well!

Some people like spawning a shortcut to every game that they own, so to make this easier the Library Browser will now indicate whether an item already exists in your arcade or not. All items that already exist are prefixed with a "-".

This week I will be writting some guides to help the prototype users get the most out of their experience, and to help everybody understand just how Anarchy Arcade works and what it does for you. Topics this week will focus on Multiplayer and other Social features of Anarchy Arcade and its prototype. Stay tuned!

Special Note to Oculus Rift Users:
Anarchy Arcade can launch any game that is on your system. However, since non-VR games look bad on the Oculus Rift, you probably won't want to launch any games from the prototype. Inevitably somebody will solve the problem of non-VR games on the Rift, and then it'll all be good.
