The award winning Project Reality and Black Sand Studio teams are proud to announce the official release of the Project Reality: Battlefield 2 2010 Christmas Map Pack!
With the great success of last year's Christmas map, Operation Snow Storm, the Reality Studios team decided it would once again bring in some Christmas spirit for the 2010 holiday season with a map pack featuring three snow maps! The 2010 PR:BF2 Christmas Map Pack includes the maps Northern Lights, Barentz Invasion and will also see the return of last year's smash hit, Operation Snow Storm.

Please ensure you have Project Reality v0.95 fully installed prior to installing the map pack.
Northern Lights
Northern Lights is a 4km Assault and Secure (AAS) map that features the German and the Russian Forces battling it out over an open, slightly woody terrain. Both factions will have tanks and APC's at their disposal, along with transport helicopters to provide support.
Barentz Invasion
Barentz Invasion is a 2km coastal map which pins the British Armed Forces against the Militia Forces in both AAS and Insurgency game modes. The British have light vehicles, APC's and helicopters to seek and destroy the hostile militia forces that although lightly armed, have dug into the surrounding countryside making them hard to destroy.
Operation Snow Storm
Operation Snow Storm is a 4km AAS map that features British and Chinese forces in mountainous, woodland area where both sides will be relying primarily on helicopter support to navigate the harsh terrain. They are also backed up with light vehicles, APC's and mobile Anti-Aircraft support to aid the infantry on the ground push though the enemy's defenses.

Unlike the majority of mods out there, PR has an exceptionally strong and active community which has built up over 5 years.
In Australia for example it's hard enough for retail games to maintain a local playerbase, let alone mods. Yet the 64 player Aussie PR server is full every night. :)
very very nice! thanks for the quick response guys
extremely impressive mapping :)
Just installed it, hope theres a server playing atm
It's a very pleasant surprise to see this mod -very- busy almost all the time. For those who have played a lot of mods, that is a blessing to new players. Hope you enjoyed it the12gauge
