Since everyone has shown great interest in our teaser, we have decided to showcase a little more until the new year.

On behalf of Lukewarm Media, we would like to thank everyone for the amount of support we have received thus far regarding our announcement of going Indie and the development of "Primal Carnage".

All the comments, views, support has been very motivating and we hope to keep you interested and that your holiday and new years go just as well.

Since everyone has shown great interest in our teaser, we have decided to showcase a little more until the new year

The more you comment and the more people that watch the game and of course that vote, we will continue to keep putting out weekly updates as well as our major updates once a month which will feature game modes, game information, character profiles, gameplay videos, and much more!

I like it, but i'm some what afraid of not seeing anything from Lightspire anymore (in the next months).

Lightspire is on hold until we finish Primal Carnage. We plan for primal carnage to raise money for us to continue development on lightspire full time since it's a very ambitious and large project.

Both animations look good, however, the attack animation seems too... "light". The jump seems good and the way it bites his head too, but it doesn't "feel" as if there's any weight behind the attack.
Kinda as if the raptor doesn't weight anything.

Perhaps speeding the animation up slightly from the moment the raptor begins "descending" til the moment it bites the guy's head would help that.

I don't know, it just felt slightly off.

I agree. I just noticed your comment and was gonna say the same thing. Maybe add a bit more emphasis on the anticiaption, but definately add more weight on the land. Maybe speed up the fall

Personally, I think it is fast enough, as this is a game, and it would give the player at least some time to hit a defend key of some sort. I find it frustrating if things happen too fast that you are not able to react. I would not change the speed, only the violence of the impact. The sound for the game, once completed, will do the last 20% of the work. Nice work...

Well, I don't think reaction time would be much of a problem, if you'd noticed the raptor prior to it's leap it would probably only require some getting used to in order to avoid it, if you hadn't seen it yet it could possibly be solved by implementing some sort of way to fend it off from the ground (an example would be how you defend yourself from dogs in CoD:MW).

Pardon my double posting, but I think I found out why it seems a little off.

The effect of the guy hitting the floor simply doesn't feel violent enough.
The head and arms doesn't seem to actually smack down on the ground as violently as you would expect when jumped and pushed down by the weight of a raptor.

Don't know if that helped.

Its very realistic the animation and the way the raptor attacked that human looked very natural. You should try puting some feathers on that raptor, but i know that its very hard to simulate feathers,but its a an idea anyway.
if you need any help with the dinosaurs in therms of behaviour and stuff i think i could help . Great work

omfg, i love the raptor attack vid, its amazing. reminds me of jurassic park the lost world scene when the black guy gets raped by the raptor in the LONG GRASS!!!1!1
