Hello stalkers,
This is a small statement about the current events in my life that prevents me to spend enought time to mod.
Currently, I'll be doing school exams (second exam phase) soon and due that I do not have enought time to spent on this mod development.
I'll make a statement again around in the first week and the second of August.

Some updates from the Facebook that shows some of the development.

For those who claimed about Colonel Petrenko died too early, I've decided to change Important NPC's (Storyline related) like this:

- Double of health
- No Bleeding
- Higher Resistance to Explosions, Fire-arms and others immunities

I'll replace the actual repair toolkit system by the barak1001 Repair Kit mod.

30/1/2013

- Random Weapons (We had a small little problem with some npc's carrying more than 2 main weapons, currently, I am tryin' to fix it)
- Spawn 3 NPC's (Jirka607, Vikingstalker & the medic at freedom base)
- Add a new icons & descriptions for some unique weapons that will be avaible via Nimble

I just think you should improve the guns, make them more balanced and maybe even delete some. No need to add more. I can't chose the best now, what will happen when there will be more :D?

In this next patch, Vikingstalker had rebalanced them but remember that you will have a much more variaty of ammo type in this patch such as incendiary and others.
May i ask you what weapons you think that should removed?

I would love to have more ammo to chose from :D. And I can't really say the names... I played this game some time ago. My point is that weapons in this mod is from an other mod, right? And in that mod guns aren't chosen to fit each other. There is no regular SoC gun leveling up elements. One guns should be better that others and so on... But when there are so much guns this gets unbalanced and some guns are almost completely same. The most advanced gun leveling system is in CoP MISERY mod. There all guns are balanced. I would suggest making gun stats by yourself and only using textures from other mods. This would make guns a lot more balanced...
However I like all the suits. I am using the balanced version of this mod (the addon I found in forums (can't remember who made it)). The number of suits is just right. For every gap between strong and weak suit, you can find a medium one. That is really good C:
And please don't get me wrong. The gun number doesn't make the mod bad. I love the mod for a lot of textures of suits, it's hard to find two stalkers looking the same :D, that is really awesome. Also this is the only mod that adds Clear sky (but you should make more of them)... Well no matter of what you will do about the guns this will still be my favorite SoC mod.

Regarding weapon rebalacing, Vikingstalker made ,for the next patch, all gun stats from the scratch to resemble real life weapons and to keep the vaniila feeling of the guns, there's not much difference except for user preference and handling and durability also he is still tuning the guns. There will be more diference (on this matter of guns) in the next patch comparing with the 2.4.2 version

i won't remove any. You'll always hit someone, who loves it. Maybe put them out of spawn or lessen the spawnrange. But why disable a whole weapon?

dont dumb down the gun selection xRatx, the more the merrier in my opinion besides guns are pretty much the biggest part of the stalker series, more choice and variety spices up the flow of the game.
I honestly dont care if one gun has the same stats as another all that matters is that guns are like people, each one is unique in its own special way and not to mention guns are cool.
