Hey watchers,
been a while since we updated the page, yesterday roughly finished last man standing gamemode though it will still need some tweaking before it works right.
Did a test run with Nauz and recorded a small bit of it.
Keep in mind that explosions and effects are all default half life 2 except for holy grenade world model has a glowing sprite, plans are to have a glowing sprite as well when the "pin" is pulled and it's still in your hand.
Also holy hand grenades will NOT be part of your default loadout, but in the video they are since we don't have any pickups yet(so it's in the default loadout for testing purposes)
So if you have any comments about the video like the following: OMG THE EXPLOSIONS ARE ALL THE SAME!
Then I would need to remind you it's a very early alpha, it isn't about the looks (yet) we're merely testing and showing gameplay.
Suggestions are welcome like always.

Wow! This is looking great guys! It's got surprisingly tactical gameplay, never realised it would be like that, but I guess you do have to think about the type of grenade, where best to throw it, and where your opponent is going to be in order to achieve the kill. Good job!
I like grenades, I like grenades alot. Keep at it.
Lookin' pretty good! I love the weapon animations. ; ) And the watermeloNade is classic. Keep it up! :DD
Looks good
You made a typo at the start! A not An. >:|
hehe, That watermelon is priceless. Nice work guys
It looks really fun!
Wowwww
What is that, just awesome, seen really fun.
What's the difference between the grenades as far as the view models and world models go?
if you look carefully, you should notice that the melon is an "impact" grenade, while the skull is a "frag" grenade. as the name says, the impactgrenade explodes on impact and deals less damage than the fraggrenade, which in opposite has a timer, that is activated after the pin was pulled.
if you're skilled enough, you can wait a few seconds before realeasing the skull grenade, so it explodes right in your enemys face (but dont wait too long, or it will explode in your hands ;)
thus, the "cooking" of the skull grenade could make it seem to be a impact grenade too, but don't worry, it isn't.
yeah Nauz explained it well.
if you time it perfectly skull grenade seems like a impact grenade but it's far more lethal but requires timing and skill to pull off.
I plan to raise melon explosion range and damage a little though since it's way to weak at the moment.
nice!
