FragOut! is a Half Life 2 multiplayer mod, in which you only get different kinds of grenades to fight with, instead of the usual weapons. Forcing players to adapt at using only throwing weapons new tactics are sure to arise!
A very early demonstration of gameplay with 2 of the grenades and showing off that melons explode on contact and the other 2 grenades(skull and holy(not shown in the video) ) can be "cooked" meaning you can hold it in hand while it counts down, then release to make it explode in someone's face.
However effects and hud and other looks of the mod are all very default, most will be changed later. First we're getting the basics of the weapons/gamemodes ready, then we'll take care of the looks!
P.S near the life and armor counter you can see a lives counter. Rather then deathmatch the mod will feature Last Man Standing, this suits the style of later to release grenades that will help you survive rather then simply frag people. With the last man standing gamemode you have to stay alive as well as you can and don't get an unlimited supply of deadly grenades so you have to use your support grenades as well to survive.
