Well that was quite a year! Over it we've gone from basic idea to concept art to in-game... then straight back to concept art but we're finally on track and are making a real push to get this mod as high quality and as good as possible... and of course available as soon as possible as well!
Me and Mr.Sugar have been hard at work, day and night, to get some pictures as I'm sure our 'many' fans have been acheing to see them. We have also been discussing everything else about the mod, brainstorming just about every idea we can and are well on our way to getting some idea on whatever we are going to do next. We don't want to reveal anything about the story right now as it is a work in progress but trust me that so far it's wicked.
Anyway, from the screenshots you can probably tell what we've been up to... if not then I'll tell you. I have been working on the first part of the mod which is the industrial area in which the military has based one of its command posts in order to hold back the advancing Xen hordes. Mr.Sugar has been working on a totally diferent area- this being the zombie-infested subway station and maintainence area.
Due to not having that many people on the team some of us have had to take up multiple roles (doesn't it bring a tear to your eye?) Along with mapper and managing the mod I have also taken up a little on-the-side concept art. Mr.Sugar has also been working on getting internet aspects working such as webhosting and forums. On that note I'd like to add that anybody with experience in just about any field of Source modding, whether it be coding, modeling or mapping is welcome to join the team.
Right that pretty much concludes the big update. Time's ripe for a nap...
