Well I got a defnite comment, I'll pm this later but I'm just dropping in quick now. Many of the UT2k3 mods are switching to UT2k4, how are we going to go about doing that here?

A list I've compiled of known switchers can be found here

"I don't get why someone would mod BFVN if they could just go ahead and mod bf42, considering its sdk's are already released. Is the BFVN an improvment from 1942?"

Yes BFV is a whole new game, not a mod.
The engine is totaly re-done and got allot of new fetures.

BF1942 and BFV are 2 different games. They are built on the same engine, except for alot of hancges done for the BFV engine to allow for bigger textures, and High quality vegitation. They have actually built their own system for the vegitation. I was speaking to one of the DICE guys and he says it will be very easy to port over a mod fromn BF1942 to BFV. I don't know how it will be done yet, but if he says its easy, then it must be! :p

Just wait a bit, they'll move to Ut2k4 as soon as it's out, I'm sure ;)

Actually, I've already seen a thread at some unreal specialized website talking about it, so I'm sure that a LOT of Ut2k3 mods will move to Ut2k4 :D
