Post news Report RSS Neverending Battles 2.3

After a short break, work has been resumed and a patch has been released.

Posted by on

Ive released patch 2.3 which fixes the reinforcement menu which made the game unplayable for alot of players. In the following time I will begin work on some small new features for your favorite skirmish mod.

One new feature, which makes playing the game coop alot easier, is a time management feature which will alow you to slow and speed up the time during online battles.

I will also spend some time balancing the enemy waves on harder difficulties so that the enemy wont send too lightly armored waves too often among other things.

After I've balanced NEB some more and put in the last features I want I will begin work on the smaller scale styles of NEB. Either I will go with light and medium versions or just a light, depends on what you guys would like. Until next time.

Co-Op seems really unstable right now, multiple tries on multiple maps and they always crash about two minutes into the action and they have all reduced their graphic settings but it isn't making much of a difference.

some maps have much more details and entities on the map (such as never2,3,4) rest should be working more stable. However i will make a lite version of the script with less units to avoid these crashes

In the mod description it says there is a new time management feature to allow you to slow down battles online.

How do you activate the slow down for online battles?

I can do it in single player using backspace to open the menu, then select 1 or 2. However pressing backspace does not bring up a menu (with or without the mod) when playing over LAN. Thanks.
