Designation: Basic Assault Infantry The Mutants have always used rocket firing soldiers alongside their regular machinegunners. Despite the latter, Mutant Rocket soldiers never fought for any other army other than the Forgotten, which made them win a high place in the Forgotten's rank system.
Affiliation: Mutants
Role: Anti- armor, Anti- aircraft
Armament: Tiberium Double RPG
Type: Advanced Infantry
Speed: Slow\Medium
Background
With the creation of the Mutant militia forces after the Mutant Exodus, the Mutant Rocket soldiers quickly found a place among their ranks. Unlike the Marauders, they used a gun developed by the Forgotten themselves, the Dual Tiberium RPG. Using spare parts from Nod RPGs, GDI missile locking systems and the Forgotten's own design for Tiberium Rockets, the weapon was of great power, being powerful enough to destroy tank armor and having the ability to lock on and hit enemy aircraft. Their physical strength and resistance to damage made them powerful enough to stand face-to-face with enemy armored units and deafeat them.
"Intel suggests that the Forgotten have placed numerous Mutant Rocket Squads on patrol in the area. Their powerful Tiberium rockets can destroy our aircraft quickly while they are a match for our light and medium armored units. Infantry strike teams should be sent to clear the area for our armored convoys to pass. Send unescorted bombers over the area at your own risk."
--Nod HQ Report To Commanders--
Armor, Beware
The Mutant Rocket Squad is powerful enough to annihilate even heavy armor if the numbers are right. They are also unmatched when fighting inside Tiberium fields as they can heal any damage taken. They can also serve as a good and fast solution to enemy bombers.
almighty coolness :D
WHAT? I´M NOT THE FIRST? oh... Mission faild.
I always capture the Mutant Hovel to get them.
Still not first :D
yeah i love hovels
From upcoming version, when you capture Mutant Hovel, you are fully won :D
<<<<INCOMING TRANSMISSION>>>>
Commander. Be advised that GDI will be sending their 10 ORCA bomber squadrons from Germany to destroy Kane's temple prime HQ. Advise to capture all mutant hovels in 15 minutes with saboteurs to persuade the mutant rocket squads to join our cause. Their rockets are powerful enough to take one bomber down to the ground.
use them in combinations with your SAM turrets and your rocket firing soldiers.
<<<<END TRANSMISSION>>>>
brother, that is the perfect airial defence
If I'm right. Temple Prime wouldn't need to worry abut a few little Orca Bombers. They have enough SAMs to deal with that. Also... Thats a long flight. From Germany to Sarajevo...
maybe they emp'ed it to stop thier sam's?
There weren't any of those EMP structures on the map were there? You would need a lot of them anyways.
Although I'm not trying to belittle the power of the Forgotten. I'm just sayin the SAMs would be good enough for 10 Orca Bombers.
actually i think you are right.... i dont think there were any now that you mension it...
GRR, ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY THE FORGOTTEN ARE USELESS... "LET'S MAKE EM UGLY"
just kidding
[Sarcasm] The Forgotten are definitely useless cause they got FORGOTTEN! :O [/Sarcasm]
:O how dare you :D
Those are NOD Fanatic missile squads with green eyes and nothing more..xd
It's a double RPG, but it seems more like the fire one RPG, then reloading, doesnt it?
That's true, it should be fixed.
I always assumed that the second rocket was just for a quick-access reload. It's the only theory that makes sense with that design.
