It's been some quite busy weeks for me, so here's a wrap-up of some news regarding the map. Mikko Sandt, the notorious reviewer behind MSDN, a site dedicated to reviews of mostly Duke 3D maps with a history of over 20 years, has reviewed Der Zorn Gottes, giving it a high score of 94/100. The Legend of Devon, an ambitious and dilligent mapper and Youtuber, gave this map a spin during his Saturday live session a couple weeks ago. His gameplay is something between a regular playthrough and exploration video, while the ongoing live chat between me and a few other high-esteemed mappers gives even more insight to the map. After finishing the level, he also plays Alex City: Bank Heist, my first ever released map which had its 20th release anniversary a couple days ago, so can be interesting as well to see how my technique and skills developed over the years. Definitely recommended to check it out and follow his streams!
Last but not least, the reason I have been busy lately are the finishing touches of my new Duke 3D map, which has been in production for over 2.5 years - but should be ready for the release around Christmas, so stay tuned!
