Hello everybody, news time!
Dividing Cadaver Party in two parts?
I'm wondering if I should divide Cadaver Party in two parts, because first half of the game is nearly ready and I have a lot left to do for the second half. I reworked a lot the first levels and added rooms, events and so on.
Game represents 24 maps today, more than the half is ready or nearly finalized. I was thinking making part 1 with the first 10 ones. Oh, here are some new screenshots:
With luck I'll be able to re-work seriously on all this by the end of the month...
Current situation
... yes, I worked only a few hours here and there during the last 5~6 weeks - some mapping work, some code corrections, that's all. Various personal stuff happened and I had to leave home and had no time for myself (that's also why I could not publish news last month).
I went back home last weekend - by the way Santa was late but brought me my new computer yesterday, a little monster! So that's one good thing, goodbye random hardware problems with my old machine. I have something veeeeery solid to continue modding. I can't wait to import the project on my new dev' environment.
A few hours ago I had to left home, again. Some new "personal stuff" just happened. I may return in a few days if everything's ok. It's frustrating not being able to work on the mod as well as other projects.

Can you split it into two parts with possibility to continue with the second part when it is ready so the player would keep the items obtained in first part while playing second part? ... I hope you know what I mean :)
Hello, yes I totally understand what you mean, I already thought about how you will start the second part - you'll see!
Currently I'm working a lot on finishing the 1st part so it is released a little later this year. I may write some news in two weeks, stay tuned!
