Midage : Gmod - Canceled (Details about it) news

Sorry for not posting this earlier, I tough I had on ModDB.

Unfortunately the mod was canceled due to some elements of the team kinda ruining it. The details can be seen at Facepunch thread located at: Facepunch.com
Like promised I released the source-code & content in case something happened to the mod, but the mod cancel happened during a code transition and therefor is not playable like seen in the videos.
If someone wants to continue just do it and we approve that.

"We started MidAge with seeing bigger than we could do, and I think this is a good lesson for us. We were basically aiming what a company like Blizzard could afford in development, the fact is that we don't have a big solid team like they do, and neither the funds.

We discussed long enough the decision to stop working on midage, this is also why we released the sources, if anyone wants to, he can take up MidAge and add features to it.

If you want to understand, our goal is to get to professional quality games in the future, we were taking MidAge seriously untill the critical problems appeared, and it revealed the big lacks we had : The team is too small. We could have recruited, we tried, but no one showed up with a serious modding past.

This, is the reason we stopped MidAge to downgrade to something that requires a less bigger core team to be started, and so far we're not starting the project itself, but doing tests around it so everyone can improve and be sure of what he will have to do in the project."

Sorry everyone, but keep tunned. Currently we're (me and Mazur) looking at Natural-Selection 2 engine as something to experiment in the future.
