Is it really dead? news

Yes, I haven't made any updates for months. Most of the time I have been working on something else, playing Fallout New Vegas and learning programming. I just don't have the inspiration to continue the mod as a Half Life expansion.

But I have the inspiration to turn it into a stand alone game (an indie).
I have big plans for this idea of mine. I always had. I was planning to make a BIG mod, with many many many features. But I was alone. I was going to start gathering a team, but that never happened. But at one moment I started to plan to turn the mod into a game.But I needed more skills...

But I want to learn programming. This is my dream. Although I don't know what I want do with the knowledge, I think will create a game called "Citizen arms" out of the idea. I know for sure it won't be in the near future. But till then I will have gathered a team (or joined a team).

You can call the project "dead as a mod", but the idea will remain.

But while the concept is being build in my head, I will be gaming, mapping, programming and, most importantly, getting a life (yep, just like Andreas Rönnberg and many others did).

And I feel great that I know what I want to do. And I fell even better because I have seen what people can do with programming, and that's one of the activities I like.

I don't know If I'm going to make the mod's profile "abandoned". I kinda don't feel like I want to. I don't know why.

But if you want to track my work, see random pictures or give a comment about me you can track my profile and/or visit it from time to time.

Hmmm... I'm still planning to release one of the projects I made as an exercise for learning programming. I learned a lot of things while I was making this project.

Thank you for tracking and liking the mod. I apologize if I have disappointed you. But if something like this happens to you, don't feel bad for the others. Do what ever you like doing.
