Hello everyone!
Factions Of War is a total conversion for Starcraft, featuring two factions: The UNDF (United Nations Defense Forces), and the Venatir Empire. The Venatir are on a campaign to kill all life in the galaxy that does not worship them. The Humans didn't worship them. Now, they must die.
Take command of units from the Spikers on the ground, to Orbital Ion Cannon Platforms! Completely new units, voice overs, and a brand-new style of gameplay!

Devlopment is in a private early-beta stage at the moment. The UNDF are about 80% done, while the Venatir are about 50%. There will be no third race, unforunatly. Expect this mod to be downloadable in June.

And in response to migb, its hard to do EVERY graphic. Take the zealot for example, it has 238 frames (I think) That would mean editing every one of them. Not exactly the funnest thing to do. But, the 17 framed units WILL be changed, (like the carrier, shuttle, wraith, ex) as well as the buildings.

nice to see a mod that isn't a half life 2 conversion. i love starcraft its still one of the best strategy games ever.

I hope you change the graphics of the Terran building, carriers etc.
Otherwise it wouldn't be a total conversion.
Just a conversion.

Gimme a break. If you aren't willing to do the repetitive legwork, then don't call yourself a total conversion. Yeah its hard to "redo every graphic", but that's the point, and why TCs take more time than just a gameplay mod. Don't just ******** your way through it and rename existing assets and expect people to accept a total conversion title.
