26th July 2011: Digital Arrow and White Rabbit Interactive today announce an agreement with Valve to bring the innovative movement-based game inMomentum to Steam.

Due for release later this summer, inMomentum is about creativity and freedom of movement. The gameplay is based on two simple actions which increase momentum each time used. To succeed, players need to manage movement to progress through the games many levels, find secret items, and complete a variety of gameplay challenges. inMomentum offers both single and multiplayer game modes.

A free beta will be made available to players around the world in the coming days.To register for the beta, simply go to:

“Digital Arrow and White Rabbit Interactive are both indie game companies. Steam is known as a terrific platform for indie game productions breaking new ground in game design. Great job so far, can't wait for its release. By the way, I've registered on the beta a while ago, do I need to register again?

No, you do not. Our beta is being executed with the first round of select players, and soon we'll open the beta to more, larger groups of players who applied. Unfortunately we cannot open up the beta to everyone just yet.

Good stuff guys, glad you got a strong publisher behind you guys as that seems to be the only way you can get onto steam.

I will be picking this up if it's decently priced on steam :D.

It's not really the only way, but it can certainly help if you are an entirely new developer with no previous game on Steam. But the Steam guys are nice and very indie friendly, so if you have a nifty little game and show at least average professional attitude, you'll probably get in. :)
