Roadmap Article
Hello Half-Life fans, and welcome to the first official roadmap of this project. Without revealing specific dates, we want to give you a general idea of what’s to come in the future. We’ve decided as a team to loop you in on some of the most important things we have been working on, so you can all know what to expect from us going forward.
First things first, chapter one's development is going along smoothly and the team is hard at work at making sure your first impression of our Arctic landscapes is a good one. We have been making great strides, so expect a full release of the chapter, next year. We can’t wait to see you play our mod, and see all the little details we’ve crammed into every nook and cranny.
In terms of the rest of the mod, most of the team has been at work on just chapter one, but we have been writing and planning. Thankfully, most of that has been finished and we have an entire blueprint for how the mod is going to look in the future. We’re looking at about the same length as Episode Two, but who's to say the length before we get to the finish line.
We are adhering to the storyline of Marc Laidlaw's Epistle 3, and we have done a vast amount of research into Episode Three's development history, in order to create an accurate adaptation. However, we still want to make a unique story that sets us apart from most other Half-Life mods. Expect an interesting retelling of the story we read all those years ago, made by Valve fans, for Valve fans.
Another thing that will be released when the demo comes out is a Patreon. We would love to be able to actually hire people that we're working with because they deserve to be paid for their efforts, and you can help us do that. Having a Patreon will not only help us out with getting more hands on deck, but it will also help us speed up the process of the mod's development. We aren’t going to be putting the mod behind a paywall, but by supporting us you will receive many benefits that will be determined at a later date.
Many of you have been asking for a Discord or a central hub for communication, and while we are working on that, the Discord will likely be released shortly before the full release of the demo. However, a few super sleuths have found their way into a secret Discord where they can communicate directly with the team. While we won’t tell you exactly how to get there, all the puzzle pieces have been laid out for you to solve.
This concludes our roadmap article. The best thing you can all do to help us out right now is to share our mod with anyone you think would be interested. We would greatly appreciate it. Thank you all for reading and happy 25th anniversary of Half-Life's release!

Chapter by chapter release! Hype!
Don't let me hope again...
Vort Bones! That's a first!
Figured out the binary code:
YoudBeSurprise4WhatYouCanHideInaURL
First you make us find out that the binary code means YoudBeSurprisedWhatYouCanHideInaURL and now you want us for figure out what that's supposed to mean? This smells like an ARG
Interesting
Figured out the binary code:
YoudBeSurprisedWhatYouCanHideInaURL
That's cool as hell but i swear to God if the mod will be scrapped in a year
nah, these guys know what there doing and they know what not to do
Has anyone tried converting parts of the URL for this page or the mod's main page into ciphers like ROT13? I feel like that might be the next step here.
putting in to rot13 gives LbhqOrFhecevfr4JungLbhPnaUvqrVanHEY or LbhqOrFhecevfrqJungLbhPnaUvqrVanHEY.
We should try more than rot13, because these dont lead to discord links or youtube links.
Right, there are other ciphers that could be tried, and with only certain parts of URLs. Discord invites are 7 to 10 characters long IIRC.
