Whilst we didn't have time to complete our next trailer (more on that in a couple of weeks) we did create a series of images for Tripwire's 'Mod poster' on display at their booth. As we get asked a lot of questions about how active we are and how the mod is progressing we've decided to make some of this promotional imagery available to the greater public.
For further images and related development information you can find our full GDC report on our developer's website.
You'll notice new assets that haven't been shown before - such as the M18 Claymore, SKS Rifle and the M151 Mutt - as well as updates on some of our extensive work with environmentals. We had to produce this media on short notice in early February, so do keep in mind you're looking at a series of sometimes composited imagery meant for promo/display purposes! We've been able to make a lot of progress implementing all the essentials inside RO2 since then. Hopefully you get a taste of what's to come!
Lastly our Developer Website 'Pop Smoke Games' is now live and is home to our development blog as well as various articles which will showcase general updates on Pop Smoke, the team currently developing 'In Country: Vietnam' for 'Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad'.
We are not intending this to be a formal PR outlet, do not expect really awesome new videos of finished products or anything, as well as some things we spend time on might not pan out so won't make it to the final release.
this is a really cool looking mod. :D
Wait, I didn't see the claymore in the pictures.
…I just failed the survival test, didn't I?
It can be found on our dev site :p

We will also be featuring it in an upcoming dev blog detailing it's construction for those who are interested.
Our dev blog post featuring the M18 Claymore is now up ;)

yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
good stuff :)
Looking good!
Honestly, other than the weapon models I pointed out to you on their respective pictures, this mod looks absolutely amazing. The only reason I would go out of my way to correct you on those weapons is because I REALLY want to play this mod. Until then, my favorite Vietnam era game is Battlefield: Vietnam (2004 game, NOT BC2 Vietnam ********)
Looks brilliant!
