I have a huge list stashed away somewhere on the intrawebz, in swedish, with all factions.. wont tell about the url.. cause that would a dead give away. anyway! Back to the news.. what i was wonderin from you guys is this.. would you rather see subfactions or new factions.. the diffrence..
Subfactions, will work (if you havent figured it out yet) like this.. you choose an alliance (i.ex. real life EU or something like that), ingame you start off with a command center, no dozer, you press the nation button you want to play like, and you're done.
New nations are a nation from a new alliance. Simple said. I have all alliance done for already, not all the factions tho. but what would you rather see, subfactions or new factions?

Just to clearify.
SUBFACTIONS Means that i will do a new factions type in the command center, in this case i will do usa, russia, then go back to the usa faction, take their command center and add UK to it, so you choose which type of army to use, and the command center will change acordingly.
FACTIONS means that i will add a new alliance (a new group so i can add more subfactions)
40+ nations wont be possible by adding it in a list before match startup, so you will have to choose a continent / alliance, and then specific what type or army in that alliance you want to play with.
Thats just to clearify, cause from what i can see people diden't get me right the first time, or is it i that dident get them right the first time?
i vote for sub-factions ..tbh i dont give a **** on the United Kingdom faction id rather see that faction list to check if mine is there :)
Whats your faction then, your wish list? maybe i can give you a 3 out of 5 factions are in the game type of answer =)

also from what ive understood its RL alliances VS. New ones (made by you ?) is that right ?
also the sub-faction system is quite familiar encountered it in bfme mods .
The alliances are fictional, but based on real life alliances, like European union, but they will have a diffrent name in the mod and so on.

I vote for new factions. I'm not sure what you would do to make Iraq, Israel, or Russia a sub-faction. I think full factions will just be easier to work with.

I vote for subfactions. It puts more emphasis on scouting the battlefield and clears up the otherwise massive faction select list. Am I correct in thinking that they are all full factions either way, the difference is in the way they are chosen?

i vote sub faction reason being as i always thought that was a cool way to do factions like in the blitzkrieg mod as each sub faction still gets everything as a whole minus some gen powers + i think it looks cool as a way to intergrate the factions instead of making new buildings for every single nation/faction
