Getting back on track. Seems last attempt at news didn't post or something... odd.
-Completed NP7 mesh and animation.
-Added select fire for single or double barrel fire on doubled sniper rifle
-Tweaks and fixes here and there.
-Some art related to new NPC interaction. Will post shots when things are more concrete.
-Retired from game that was taking unhealthy amounts of time from Hatchet
EDITS:
-Added a rare chance to acquire (or "learn") crafting recipes for items when breaking them down. Idea is that by taking them apart you learn a little bit about them in the process.
-A couple extra bug fixes.
-Increased material costs for weapons and pickups, while keeping their breakdown output roughly the same. Items were previously stupid cheap to make, in comparison to ammunition. One box of higher tier ammo could cost more than an entire small or medium class weapon, and that just didn't fully make sense. This should also attempt to encourage "bastard" weapons that are not dedicated to an entire tier of material, since upgrading a weapon to a higher tier will cost more, and this adds a bit of nonlinearity in choosing what to craft weapons from.
-Reloading a weapon decreases movement speed until reload is finished or canceled. This was sadly necessary due to excessive run n gun factor with 12G Compact and the new NP7.
